Dale, this I know about Tandy (and the Leather Factory stores):  If you ever get a defective product from them, they WILL make it right.  They are one of the few companies still practicing the "old Sears principle" of "satisfaction guaranteed."
Re:  China:  If our own government had not regulated US industry out of this country, China would never have replaced our industry.  Tanneries:  between the EPA and OSHA, if we still had tanneries, we would be paying over $50. a square foot for leather.  When old equipment wears out, to replace it means current standards must be met.
And Mr. Conn:  don't EVER use that language again.  UNDERSTAND!

I've never been more PO'd at Tandy than I am right now. I'm a bit
embarrassed that it took me until not to realize it, but I just realized
that the square that came in my tool kit that I bought from them is NOT
SQUARE.
