I for the most part agree with GB, I agree he can sometimes be strong in his helpful suggestions but he has a right to say what he will as does everybody else. Quick casing is an ok procedure if you're in a bind to get something finished, but actual casing is a much better way to prepare your leather for carving. It takes practice to properly case and you won't get it right the first time, but it's not like we don't mess up the first time on new things anyways. On this subject GB is just stating the facts. We all have different opinions and methods, it's up to the newbies to take all info and come up with their own way. I appreciate this list and the different inputs.
