Re: [flasah] need help

When setting a snap you need a snap anvil.
it has a domed side and a flat side to help prevent you from flattening the domed side of the snap.
All leathercraft supply stores have this item and it costs about $2.29
Here is a picture of the item in case you have it in your tool collection: http://www.sbearstradingpost.com/8056-00.JPG
Hope this helps,
Sandi

 Hi All,
I have been having trouble attaching snaps. I can't seem to do it without deforming the little button. I use a poundo board( I think that's what it is) and what I think are the right tools(this alone could be the problem) and even a cloth between the concave piece and the little button. How should I be doing this? Forgive my ignorance.. I inherited an awesome collection of Leathercraft supplies but no knowledge. I am self taught by using books. =)
 TIA,
  Tammi
