Peter, I had to go back and look at the pictures several times to identify what you were doing. I like the idea of the lift out notch in the I-Phone pocket and the use of the rivets
at the stress points of the additional pockets (ala Levis jeans). Great looking so far, please post pictures of this when finished...Hank

...thought some may find this of interest.
This will be a clutch purse, made from shrunken Bison with a kangaroo lining. I made a template of an 'i-phone' (slightly oversize) and created a pocket for it, with a provision at the base for a finger to lift it out. This pocket is on the inside front, with additional flat pockets (on inside back) for credit cards etc. I have reinforced these pockets at the stress-points with tiny rivets (I plan on this purse lasting forever).
The closure will be a tab going through a loop...may add a small post here for security. This purse will be laced.
Am also making a portfolio, alligator with kangaroo lining...will post photos of both pieces when completed.
