[flasah] STRAT.....A close-up of side
Bill...here is a close-up as requested (with the back shown). You will see two lines I have scribed for the hand sewing...I have run an over-stitch wheel on the top line. You will see the join of the top and side piece between these two marked lines.

Although i am not able to make out the detail i AM Very Sure that the quality of the detail of your work is Outstanding and you are correct it is a shame that the customer wanted black.. I would have liked to have seen this before you dyed it..You stated that the edges were mitered but from what i can see it looks like the face and sides are all one piece?? Since you said that you have 115 inches to sew just 5 inches short of 10 feet i figure that the top and sides are separate so how did you achieve the rounded over look on the edge in the photo.. Would it be possible for you to post another photo at a different angle as the king of hearts playing card doesn't show up in this photo..As Always Thank You for SharingTake CareB
