[flasah] tape

Hi everyone,
Ok, I have to jump in here on this tape thing. I've just been
working in my leather room and cut out a checkbook cover from red
embossed alligator print leather and the lining for it. Sometime ago
I bought an Elmer's Glue Runner from Wal-Mart and thought I'd try it
out. It works wonderful. It has enough sticky stuff to it to hold
multiple pieces of leather together and is re-positionable if need
be, too. It is very inexpensive and works very well. Thank you,
Anne, for starting this tape thread. I would never have thought to
use something like that to hold leather in place while stitching, but
now I won't use anything else. Of course I just make small items,
and it might not work with leather clothes, but might be worth a try
for you. The tape is so much better than using clothespins, etc. to
hold the pieces together.

Just my 2-cents worth.
