You have piqued my interest.
The tape from Uline or the hobby shops is a film that is used for temporary or permanent adhesion of materials.
I also have a special glue from germany that is used in the leather industry to hold materials for sewing but it's not easy to use compared to the transfer tape (which is not really tape).
I thought you had a film in mind similar to the 'Stitch Witchery' that is used for fabrics but for leather instead.
You have me confused!

Hi AnneI live in Canada and I deal with a company called Uline for the TRANSFER TAPE you are talking about. I saw the same tape and dispensors in Michaels Art Supplies. Im new to this group. Im from Europe, but do live in USA sence a few years.
Iv been working with leather for aprox 20-25 years, as my ex was a designer, and did lots in leather.
I do have one small problem here in USA, I am looking for a double sided tape to use to glue the leather before sewing it. In Europe I got them at my supplier in boxes.
Its about 5-6 mm (1/4 inch) 60-100 yard.
Anybody know of this one, and can tell me where to get it ?
