[flasah] Backing leather

I've use many things, masking tape, pkg tape, shelf liner, floor tile, you name it.
Recently I had nothing available for backing, but I had several cheap posters. These were the "paper" feel on the back, and very slick on the top.
With rubber cement, I affixed the leather to the slick side, put it under marble for a cpl hrs. Being the thinnest, hardest surface, with less stretch than any of the above. And when done, it peeled off leaving no residue. And guess what? It was one of the cheapest.
Toolers who go for "impact", meaning they cut deep, bevel deep will like it. I like impact toolers; they give a more 3 dimensional look to the leather, rather than the shallow "machine pressed" look.
