Re: [flasah] sewing machine
Frank,
My home machine is so heavy I can hardly lift it and it will sew over the
thick seams on jeans as good as it will sew on a thin piece of cotton. So,
I just need to try it on thicker leather and see what it does. I might
have to get another foot, like someone said, but that's still cheaper than
a new machine. And from all information that I've gotten so far, mine will
do the same as the Sailrite, but I won't know until I try it. I know that
it will sew the 3-4 oz leather just fine, and the lining leather will just
zip thru. I've got a belt blank that I can try it on, too and if it will
sew that, then I know it will sew everything else that I work on.
Thanks to all for their responses to my questions.
