RE: [flasah] looking for old Tandy pattern pattern 44613-00 - Baby's First Shoes
I use an Olfa rotary cutter 60mm blade to cut moc leather. They will cut veg tan up to
3-4 oz but thicker leather is a problem. I am going to design and build an arbor to fit
my Dremel tool so I can sharpen the blades. Will send pics and instructions later after I
try it out. The scalloped blades cannot be sharpened however...Hank

The better ones will cut thin leather, and also you might try the special rotary blades they have for the rotary cutters.

I wonder if you could get some of the scalloped scissors they use for scrap booking? You would have to get the "better" ones, as the cheap ones won't even cut paper.Milli

Hi WilliamI Don't have the original Patterns for Baby's First shoes but I'm sending you the patterns that I made from the original pieces. You will need them even if you have a kit.I had to modify a 5/32 punch by grinding away the cutting edge and leaving only the arc needed to cut the fluted edge.I'm sending the instructions and a picture of what I made with the patterns.Let me know if you get the patterns. I've sent them actual size.Hope this helpsPaul
